Every Author yearn to get his / her work published and sold. It is not only about extra earnings in terms of Royalty from books sold. Books make the Author known and famous among millions of readers, across geography. That is the real incentive for Authors to write.
Normally authors get their work published through Book publishers. However, getting reputed publisher is not easy, specially for new Authors. Small local publishers may not be able to market and sale in large scale. Self-publishing is practically impossible for an individual author. Publishing requires professional enterprise for printing, distribution & Sales. Individual Authors cannot manage it themselves.
dVIDYA helps Authors to get their work published and sold. We will first upload and publish the work in our site, visited by thousands of our students. If it creates good interest and responses from readers, we would print the contents in form of book and sale it. Our printers are spread in cities & towns all over the country. They print books / study materials in laser printer, against order only. Contents are regularly updated on line. Traditional new edition of printed books are printed only after years (so the contents are always stale and outdated), our books are updated instantly, on line. So, the reader always get updated materials. Royalty on Sales is paid to respective author, every Half Year (April to September, October to March).
Authors just need to send their word processed manuscript, with charts & images, if any. They may send manuscript of a whole book, or even a chapter of any subject, as per syllabus. If they cannot send word processed files, they may even send image of their handwritten manuscript (photo of handwritten pages captured by phone camera). We will upload the handwritten manuscript first. If it gets good response from readers, we will get it word processed, and sell printed copies.
Just send your manuscript (typed or handwritten). Our editors would review it (may be edited, if necessary). We would publish. Print & sell.
Videos
Now-a-days, Videos are becoming popular among students. Of course, Video creation requires many technical aspects, software & equipment. Authors themselves cannot do it.
We will create the videos of your contents, use your recorded voice, in the video.
Recording your voice in an audio file is very simple. Install any audio recorder (voice recorder) in your smartphone. Now activate the voice recorder and speak (on the smartphone) in a natural way (as if you are speaking before class room). Create separate audio files for each topic (2-3 sentences over one or two minutes only), so that any audio file can be easily re-recorded if required. If you record long audio files, you will have to re-record that portion to replace.
First record a few minutes audio (2 audio files of 1-3 minutes each) and sample audio file. We will test and suggest you the proper way and structure, as necessary.
Initially, you may have to re-record several times. But once you pick up the process, your voice will become better and consistent. Gradually, you will feel comfortable and find audio recording even easier and faster than writing.
If you cannot do voice recording, our experts (audio-book recorder) will record voice, aligned with the Study Notes / Book authored by you.
You may view our uploaded Videos, to understand the structure of audio part, how it is aligned with the text contents to create a full synchronized video.
Our team of Video Editors and technicians will create Video Tutorials based on your book and recorded Audio, and upload in You Tube. This will give you immense publicity and substantially increase sale of your books.
