Our students learn from on-line courses and resources like Books, Videos etc., on Internet, though self-study. So, they often need support services for doubts clearing, handholding & face to face interaction to resolve knotty issues, and expert guidance for further improvement. Teachers provide such services to the students.
Off line Support Services: Teachers provide following off-line support (non-Interactive) services :
- Answer to Students’ Queries : Students often send us their queries & doubts by e-mail. These e-mails are forwarded to our panel Teachers. Teacher answers to the queries by e-mail. The answer is forwarded to the respective student, raising the query.
- Test Paper Answer review : Teachers review and comment students answer books
Our students write answers to Tests on paper, as usual, but send the image of the answer papers, captured by phone cameras.
The digital image file of the answer book (in PDF) received from student are forwarded to teacher for review and comment. The Teacher reads the digital pages in computer (instead of paper), and append notes on the digital page (we will help you in learning the process of writing comments on digital pages). The Teacher points out student’s mistakes, shortcomings & suggestions, in the digital file. The Teacher returns the commented digital file by e-mail us, which is redirected to the student. The students go through the teacher’s comments and get apprised of their mistakes, shortcomings and guidance notes. This help the students rectify their mistakes and improve further.
Personalised Interactive Services
Even after resolving student queries by e-mail, student may need to interact directly (talk face to face) with teachers to resolve knotty and critical issues, which cannot be explained accurately by indirect methods like e-mail etc.
- On-line Interactive sessions through Video Conference: When teacher and student are in distant places and cannot meet each other face to face, Student – Teacher may interact through our channel, face to face. Both students and Teacher connect to our platform, at pre-fixed time. Student asks questions / queries. Teacher answers. They interact and get the issues resolved instantly.
- Face to face meeting at Teachers place : When teacher and student are in nearby place, the student meets the teacher at his /her place at pre fixed time, and interact each other face to face.
What the Teachers need to do
- Courses : We have students of CBSE / ICSE/ State Board (Class XI/XII), Foundation Courses of CA/CS/CMS, Competitive Exams (NEET, JEE etc).
- Teacher Profile : Qualified and experienced Teachers should e-mail their complete profile, stating Educational qualification, Teaching Experience, Place of coaching (Home / Coaching Centre), subjects of expertise, etc to teacher@dvidya.com. On receiving the details, we will enroll the teacher panel in our site. Our students would select their favourite teacher for support services, from the panel. The teacher selected by the student would provide the services to the respective Student
- Networking : Students normally prefer their favourite teacher known to them. So, you should actively share our site with maximum number of your students, so that students select your name for support service. So more you share our site through e-mail, social network, mouth publicity and other means and connect with the students, more students you get.
- Sample Work : We have students our all over India. Through our platform, teachers from any place, can provide support to student of any place, right from their home. Students select teachers from teacher’s profile and teacher’s work uploaded in our site. So, to get large number of students from across the country, you should submit us sample study notes / video tutorials to upload on our site. So, create good materials and submit us for uploading in our site, to get more students.
Writing Books / Study Notes
Teachers should write the class notes organised in Chapters, as per syllabus. The notes should be well organised, logically arranged into paragraphs. A paragraph may contain few sub paragraphs.
• A paragraph may contain a brief description and further elaboration in bulleted captioned keywords, within 2-3 short sentences for each point. No heavy and long paragraph blocks.
• A chapter should be contained in 8-10 pages maximum. The contents must conform our structure. You may submit one chapter (or a part of chapter of 1 or 2 pages). Our team of editors would review it and suggest changes required, if any. You may then submit the full chapter as per guidelines. This way, you may submit the chapters one by one.
Video creation
Now-a-days, Videos are becoming popular among students. Of course, Video creation requires many technical aspects, software & equipment. Teachers cannot do it themselves.
• We will create the videos of your contents, using your recorded voice in the video.
• Recording your voice in an audio file is very simple. Install any audio recorder (voice recorder) in your smartphone. Now activate the voice recorder and speak (on the smartphone) in a natural way (as if you are speaking before class room). Create separate audio files for each topic (2-3 sentences over one or two minutes only), so that any audio file can be easily re-recorded if required. If you record long audio files, you will have to re-record that portion to replace.
• First record a few minutes audio (2 audio files of 1-3 minutes each) and send us as sample. We will review the recording and suggest you proper way and structure, as required.
• Initially, you may have to re-record several times. But once you pick up the process, your voice will become better and consistent. Gradually, you will feel comfortable and find audio recording even easier and faster than writing.
• If you cannot do voice recording, our experts (audio-book recorder) will record voice, aligned with the Study Notes submitted by you.
• You may view our uploaded Videos. Follow the structure of audio part, how it is aligned with the text contents, to create video, with text and audio synchronised.
Having recorded the audio as per written study notes submitted by you, our team of Video Editors and technicians will create Video Tutorials based on your book and recorded Audio, and upload in You Tube. This will give you immense publicity and substantially increase sale of your books.
